Innovation-Design-Implementation Through Reusability and Sharing
The essence of organizing Open Source events is best achieved when the audience is most keen to embrace it. Students at UET is such community that is agile enough to 'toe the line' which is contemporary, free and promises career rewards. With the shifting paradigm of software development from being proprietary-centric to 'free', the students at UET are increasingly excited to join the bandwagon.
Open Source Projects Exhibition (OSPE) is an ACM and IEEE Students Chapter co-hosted event that is aimed at encouraging students to showcase their efforts involving Open Source design and development tools. It is expected that the participants at ICOSST would appreciate that OSPE emulates the vision of the Open Source community.
