A one-day symposium was organized by the department of Chemistry, UET Lahore on Tuesday, 18 May 2022 (Advances in interdisciplinary sciences). Symposium was arranged by Dr Aisha Munawar, under the guidance of Chairperson Prof Dr Farhat Yasmeen. Speakers from academia and industry addressed the symposium and threw light on the theme of the day, which happens to be of great importance in the present era. Symposium was attended by a large number of faculty and students. At the end, souvenirs and bouquets were handed over to the guest speakers by the respected chairperson, followed by a lunch”
